 Project Overview

This project, located in a detached residential area of Brisbane, Australia, addresses key household challenges: high electricity costs, frequent grid fluctuations, and the need to maximize consumption of rooftop solar power. Leveraging Australia's "Cheaper Home Batteries Scheme" (which offers up to 3,000 AUD for residential storage installations), we delivered a customized modular solution. Commissioned in June 2025, the system integrates with the homeowner's existing 8kW rooftop solar array, achieving 92% energy self-sufficiency, a 42% reduction in annual electricity bills, and reliable backup power during grid outages.

Core Delivery Content

Modular Energy Storage System: Four 10.24kWh wall-mounted lithium iron phosphate battery modules (total 40.96kWh), featuring a scalable design for future expansion by 2-4 modules. With an IP65 rating, the system is built for Brisbane's hot, humid subtropical climate.

Intelligent Hybrid Inverter: A 10kW bidirectional hybrid inverter enables seamless switching (<20ms) between solar, battery, and grid. Its AI-powered energy management algorithm automatically optimizes charging and discharging based on real-time electricity prices and solar generation.

User-Friendly Control Platform: A dedicated mobile app and web platform allow the homeowner to monitor real-time energy flow, adjust adjust power usage modes (e.g., "peak-shaving mode" or "backup priority mode"), and review historical savings data from anywhere.
