Anhui Like-minded Adds New Intelligent Production Line Focusing on Lithium Iron Phosphate Energy Storage Batteries

On October 20th, Anhui Like-minded New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., located in Hefei's Baohe District, put its new intelligent production line for lithium iron phosphate energy storage batteries into operation. With a total investment of 210 million yuan, the production line has an annual capacity of 1GWh—enough to meet the battery demands of 30,000 households or 50 large-scale commercial and industrial energy storage projects.

According to the company's manager, the new production line features an intelligent BMS and automated assembly equipment, achieving an automation rate of over 90% in its core processes. The lithium iron phosphate batteries produced boast an energy density of 150-180Wh/kg and a cycle life of over 3,000 cycles. Having passed multiple safety certifications, they are well-suited for various scenarios, including photovoltaic energy storage and emergency power supply. The production line is also designed with modular upgrade space, allowing for a quick transition to new energy vehicle battery production in the future.

This expansion project has received support from Hefei's new energy industry policies. Upon full operation, it is projected to generate an annual output value of over 800 million yuan and create more than 300 new jobs, thereby enhancing the local industrial chain from battery materials to energy storage applications. The company has already secured supply agreements with three photovoltaic enterprises, with the first batch of products scheduled for delivery in December.

"Hefei's industrial ecosystem provides fertile ground for technological transformation," stated an official from the Hefei Development and Reform Commission. " The increased capacity from Like-minded will boost the quality and efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta's energy storage cluster and provide key support for building the region's new power system."
