Anhui Like-minded Welcomes African Clients in 2024, Opening New Space for Energy Storage Lithium Battery Cooperation

On September 15, 2025, Anhui Like-minded welcomed a delegation of energy company representatives from Kenya and Tanzania to its energy lithium battery factory. The two sides held in-depth discussions on off-grid energy storage cooperation, focusing on customized power supply solutions for energy-scarce regions in Africa.

The 12-member delegation toured the factory's intelligent production line and testing laboratory. In the fully automated cell assembly workshop, they observed the entire production process of lithium iron phosphate energy storage batteries and expressed strong approval of the production line's 92% automation rate and its capacity of 300 units per hour.During the technical exchange, Like-minded showcased an energy storage battery specifically adapted to Africa's high-temperature environments. This enhanced product offers stable operation from -10°C to 55°C, a cycle life of over 5,000 cycles, and supports modular combination, flexibly meeting the needs of various scenarios such as off-grid village power supply and small photovoltaic power stations.

“With nearly 600 million people in Africa facing power shortages, Like-minded's products are an ideal fit for our residential power supply projects,” said the head of a Kenyan energy company. He added that a preliminary agreement has been reached for the purchase of 20MWh of energy storage batteries, with the first batch designated for off-grid power systems in nomadic communities in northeastern Kenya. The two parties also agreed to jointly develop low-cost energy storage solutions compatible with local African grid infrastructure.Like-minded's general manager stated that this visit marks a significant step in the company's expansion into the African market, noting that three smaller African orders had already been secured in 2024. Relevant departments in Hefei's Baohe District also indicated they will provide foreign trade policy support to facilitate the company's participation in African new energy infrastructure projects.
